Get to know the AVRG crew


Jordan’s running journey began as a way to regain mobility after a back injury and subsequent surgery. During physical therapy, he set a rehab goal to “just be able to run a little bit” again. Now, he’s checking off milestones going from a half marathon, marathon, 50KM, up to 100KM on his journey.

Paige started running after explicitly telling Jordan “I would die before I started running for exercise”. Luckily, she was encouraged to do so by her sister. Paige stays consistently active with running, bouldering, basketball, and more. She even came back from breaking her leg to run and climb!

Juliann is… kinda the reason Jordan and Paige both run as much as they do. She got Paige (her twin sister) beyond the “die before running for exercise” bit by starting running regularly herself. After signing up for a 5K, she got Paige and Jordan to do the same race. Eventually she’s worked her way up to the half marathon (and recently convinced Paige to do her first half marathon).
